How we check discounts
Nothing goes up until somebody has tried to use it.
Dead codes waste your afternoon. We'd rather waste ours: we run the discount, write down what it does and who it's for, and put the date on it.

Where they come from
Tool makers, affiliate networks, public promos, and readers who send one in.
What we actually do
For a code, we take it to the checkout and see whether it applies. For a link, we follow it and read the terms. Then we write down what happened.
When we can't get all the way
Some checkouts we can't reach without buying something we don't need. When that happens we say exactly what we did check — never more.
How current it is
Every discount shows the date we checked it. We don't watch them around the clock, so go by the date. Anything with an end date drops off when it ends.

Hit report on the discount. It comes off the site.
