Terms
Version 1.0 · Effective November 2, 2026 · Last updated: November 2, 2026
Please read section 13. It requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration instead of in court or as a class action, and it explains how to opt out within 30 days.
1. These Terms
StudioSavings, a business registered in California. These Terms are an agreement between you and us. They cover studiosavings.com, your account and the emails we send. You accept them when you create an account by clicking Send sign-in link, or when you use StudioSavings. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account. By creating one, you confirm that you are.
- Use an email address you control. Sign-in links go there, so keep that inbox secure. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account.
- We may refuse or close accounts that break these Terms (section 10).
3. What StudioSavings does
- StudioSavings lists discounts on creative tools, with pricing context and eligibility details, and links to the tool makers' sites.
- Tool makers control their prices, discounts, eligibility, redemption terms, checkout and support. A discount can change or end without notice.
- We check discounts as our How we check page describes. A check reflects what we saw at the time. We don't promise that a discount will work for you or be available where you are.
- A code you reveal is yours to use under the tool maker's terms, and cancelling Premium doesn't take it back. Your account doesn't include a list of the codes you've revealed, and we don't promise to show a code again, so keep your own copy of any code you want to use.
- Some discounts need a free account. StudioSavings Premium discounts will need a paid subscription (section 9).
4. How we make money
Some tool makers pay us when you use their discount. It costs you nothing extra, and it doesn't set what we list or what stays up. Our affiliate disclosure page has the details. If we ever feature a paid placement, we'll label it as sponsored.
5. Emails about your account and the product
Your account is an ongoing service. While you have one, we'll email you:
- Account and security notices: sign-in links, security alerts, notices about your account, and changes to these Terms or our Privacy Policy. They're part of the service. You can't turn them off while you have an account, but you can delete your account at any time.
- Product updates: important changes to StudioSavings, including new features, changes to what free accounts include, and new paid products, such as the launch of StudioSavings Premium. Product updates include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops product updates but not account and security notices.
- Newsletter and tool alerts: only if you ask for them. Each has its own permission and its own unsubscribe link.
You agree that we can give you notices, disclosures and agreements electronically, by email to your account address or on the site, and that they satisfy any legal requirement to be in writing.
6. Using StudioSavings
You agree not to:
- break the law or violate anyone's rights;
- scrape, crawl or copy the site or its data in bulk, or use automated tools to access it. Search engines and AI assistants that follow our robots.txt are allowed;
- interfere with the site, test its security without permission, or try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours;
- submit false reports, spam or abusive content through our forms;
- publish, sell or share in bulk the codes that require an account or Premium. They're for your own use;
- misuse discount links, including in ways that break a tool maker's program or our affiliate agreements.
7. Content, trademarks and feedback
- The site's content, including its text, design, data and editorial, belongs to StudioSavings or its licensors. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Tool names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. We use them to identify their products, and that use doesn't mean the owners endorse StudioSavings.
- If you send us reports, suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or payment.
- If you think something on the site infringes your rights, contact hello@studiosavings.com and we'll look into it.
8. Other sites
StudioSavings links to tool makers' sites and affiliate networks that we don't control. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. Purchases, billing, refunds and support are between you and the tool maker.
9. StudioSavings Premium
Premium isn't available yet. Before it launches, we'll add its terms here (price, automatic renewal, how to cancel and refunds) and tell account holders as section 5 describes. Our payment provider will sell Premium as reseller and merchant of record, and its checkout terms will also apply to your purchase.
10. Changes to StudioSavings and ending your account
StudioSavings will change over time. We may add, change or remove features at any time, including how discounts are shown and what free accounts include. Section 5 describes how we tell you about important changes.
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account, or limit your access, if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect StudioSavings or its users. If we stop running StudioSavings, we'll tell account holders first where we reasonably can. Sections 7, 11, 12, 13 and 15 keep applying after your account ends.
11. Disclaimers
StudioSavings is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any discount will work or stay available, or that you'll save a particular amount. Nothing on StudioSavings is financial, legal or tax advice.
12. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill;
- our total liability for all claims relating to StudioSavings is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100.
These Terms don't limit liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct. If a third party brings a claim against us because you broke these Terms or the law, you'll cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
13. Disputes
13.1 Talk to us first. Before either of us starts an arbitration or a small-claims case, the party with the dispute sends the other a written notice:
- If it's you, send the notice to hello@studiosavings.com or 2108 N St Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816.
- If it's us, we send it to your account email.
- The notice includes your name, your account email, a description of the dispute and the relief sought. It must be signed by the person with the claim, not only by a lawyer.
We'll both try in good faith to resolve the dispute within 30 days after the notice arrives, including a phone or video call if either of us asks. Deadlines for bringing the claim are paused during those 30 days.
13.2 Arbitration. If we can't resolve it, you and StudioSavings agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or StudioSavings by final and binding individual arbitration, except as 13.4 says. This covers claims based on contract, statute, fraud, privacy or any other legal theory, including claims that arose before you accepted these Terms. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section 13.
13.3 Individual claims only. You and we may each bring claims only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding. The arbitrator can't combine different people's claims or award relief to anyone other than the individual party, except as 13.4(b) allows. If a court decides this paragraph can't be enforced for a particular claim, that claim, and only that claim, goes to court (never to class arbitration) after the arbitration of any other claims finishes.
13.4 Exceptions.
- (a) Small claims. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.
- (b) Public injunctive relief. A claim for public injunctive relief under California law is decided by a court, after the arbitrator has decided any other claims and remedies in the case.
13.5 Rules and administrator. The American Arbitration Association (AAA) administers the arbitration under its Consumer Arbitration Rules in effect when the case is filed ( adr.org), as this section modifies them. If 25 or more similar demands are filed by, or with the help of, the same or coordinated counsel, the AAA's Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules also apply. If the AAA can't or won't administer the case, we'll agree on another administrator, or a court will appoint one.
13.6 Hearing, fees and costs. The arbitration takes place in the county where you live, or by phone or video, as the AAA's rules provide. Smaller claims may be decided on written submissions where those rules allow. Fees follow the AAA's consumer fee schedule, which puts most fees on the business. We won't seek our attorneys' fees or costs from you unless the arbitrator finds your claim frivolous or brought for an improper purpose. The arbitrator may award you fees and costs where the law allows.
13.7 The arbitrator. One arbitrator decides the case.
- Relief: the arbitrator can award the same individual relief a court could, applying these Terms and the law, and must give a written decision.
- Scope: the arbitrator decides questions about the scope, validity and enforceability of this section 13, except that a court decides 13.3 and whether a claim seeks public injunctive relief.
- Enforcement: any court with jurisdiction may enter judgment on the award.
13.8 Opting out. You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. Email hello@studiosavings.com from your account email with the subject "Arbitration opt-out" and your name. If you opt out, the rest of these Terms still apply, and disputes go to the courts in 13.10.
13.9 Changes to this section. A change to this section won't apply to a dispute that either of us has already given notice of, or that arose before the change took effect. You can reject a material change to this section by emailing hello@studiosavings.com within 30 days after we notify you of it. The version you had previously accepted then continues to apply to you.
13.10 Governing law and courts. California law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs section 13. Any dispute that isn't arbitrated, including after an opt-out or under 13.4, will be decided by the state or federal courts in Sacramento County, California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these Terms
Each version of these Terms has a number and an effective date at the top.
- Material changes: we'll email account holders at least 30 days before the change takes effect, unless a shorter period is needed to comply with the law or protect security. We may ask you to accept the new version when you next sign in. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect.
- Other changes take effect when we post them.
- Earlier versions are available on request.
- Changes to the dispute terms follow section 13.9.
15. General
- These Terms and the documents they mention are the whole agreement between you and us about StudioSavings.
- We may transfer these Terms to an affiliated company, such as a subsidiary, or to a company that takes over StudioSavings or its business. We'll tell you if we do. You may not transfer them without our written consent.
- If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies, except as section 13.3 says.
- If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it.
- Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
16. Notice to California users
